I'm leaving on a jet plane...

The ticket is officially booked.

A one way ticket to New Zealand.

This is going to be one hell of a journey.

i know...

...i know.

It's been ages. And trust me, I love my blog. But I don't have internet hooked up yet at home. Work as always has been crazy busy and takes priority over things like blogging.

I have to recap sooo much - and none of this will be tonight.

Highlights to look forward to.

September 24th - the injury. And the follow up story. Oh, my poor knee. This trip and fall accident that occured last monday might throw me into physiotherapy after all. Maybe for the best. I find out October 10th after meeting with my knee guy again.

Nuit Blanche - a la injured knee. I didn't last long. Best part was the balloon maze thing - with Elaine, Anton, Nicole and Brent. Goal - help build the structure and then spend time beneath it - going through the maze of balloons. Brent was probably the only one who made a significant contribution to the structure from our team. Some of us were too busy with our cameras. Oh digital media - so quick and easy. :)

September 15/16th. Tobermory - one year later. I can't believe it's been over a year now. We celebrated by reliving the beauty of Tobermory, ON - where it all began. Mind you, spending the entire night awake and with my finger on the panic alarm of my car keys wasn't the best sleep i've ever had. I woke up to a very heavy breathing/grunting something outside of our tent in the middle of the night. Whatever it was eventually walked away - as my mind raced around what type of animal could make that sound, and whose footsteps were as heavy... Oh yeah, and there was a bear sighting in our camp area the week before. Gulp. More on the story to come. But for those venturing up to Tobermory ever - bring outside firewood - we've never had luck with the stuff you buy on site.

Freek Out 4.0. Another year, another camping trip. Wahoo. It was fun. Especially the scavenger hunt, including the infamous 1/2 hour frog hunt, and Mission: Save Ricky the Racoon. Good times.

A day in the life of... I think I'll start a series of this. The first installment will be on Sam & Katharine & Sebastien. I was able to spend a day with them while I was hiatus - and it was fun. :)

My summer. I have no idea where it went - but things happened and need to be talked about.

My new pad. My last one in the T-dot for a bit.

NZ update - you might have to check my NZ blog for this. But i'll probably touch upon this subject. Tickets are to be bought by the end of the year - so that we can apply for our VISAs come January. Mid-July 2008. I should technically be there now - but then is just as wonderful.

Camera Wrap on The Latest Buzz, Season Two. It happens tomorrow. I'll be here until December 21st (what a blessing) - but the crew is on to wrapping out the school. The halls will be much quieter from here on.

September 25th, 1982. Twenty-Five years later. A celebration of my grandfather. My family and I were able to make it down to Ottawa to attend our first meeting with my grandfather. A very proud moment. A whirlwind of a trip - there and back in under 24hrs (left T.O. at 11amish on the 25th, left Ottawa at 3amish on the 26th to be at work on time...ish).

Breakfasts. I can't tell you how much I love making big breakfasts. Despite my apparent egg-tose intolerance, I continue to stuff my face with yummy omelletes. Oh - and Banana Pancakes - but they don't affect my stomach at all. :)

Updates - on what i'm going to do come January. Only 6.5 months at that point. Who knows. I'll probably just be bouncing off the walls with excitement for NZ. :)

Summer adventures...and trips.

Those are kind of the 'bigger' things.

Thanksgiving is this weekend - and I look forward to time with family and good home cooked food.

Recaps are coming.

I know I say that often - but it's true. I'll even finally post about our Mission to White Castle (which occured LAST year) and skydiving with my dad.

Hmmm - i dunno if i even have a readership anymore. If I do - i should throw it out there. I am going to be chopping my hair for my trip. Kind of like a shaggy short, but not too short kind of style. Think Colleen from Survivor season 1. Anyway - if you have any suggested hair styles for me - let me know.

It might happen sooner than I think. I'm tired of my hair right now. Ugh.
